
Diane Gilman, PsyD is a licensed psychologist and Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP). She is the founder of The Center For Mind and Body Health, LLC. Dr. Gilman specializes in the treatment of adults, teens, and children with chronic illness, pain, and undiagnosed illnesses, as well as anxiety, depression, phobias, grief and loss, life and spirituality transitions, executive functioning and organizational skill, and weight loss or habit cessation including skin picking, nail biting, and procrastination. Dr. Gilman additionally trains clients and practitioners in communication techniques such as creating and enforcing healthy boundaries or effectively navigating conflict with confidence. She also specializes in short-term therapy for test anxiety, helping to design a customized program to support clients in passing exams at the local and national levels. Along with individual, couples, and family therapy, Dr. Gilman also leads workshops, trainings, presentations, and guest lectures in the community. She is also the founder and creator of Great Minds Abroad, a retreat business for women in the mental health and healing professions to learn about mental health around the world in international destinations. Great Minds Abroad provides continuing education (CE) credits and aims to make trainings in mental health more inclusive and diverse.
Dr. Gilman uses a holistic and integrated approach to therapy that utilizes several psychological theories such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic Psychology, and Internal Family Systems Theory. Dr. Gilman also uses knowledge of mind-body techniques to address mental and physical health concerns. Her goal is to provide a unique treatment approach that addresses the entire person to heal and empower her clients.
Dr. Gilman holds a Doctoral and Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from The American School of Professional Psychology, as well as a Masters Degree in General Psychology from Villanova University. She has worked in a variety of settings for more than two decades including private practice, inpatient mental health, outpatient community mental health, non-profit outpatient clinics, and group practices. Dr. Gilman has given numerous lectures in the community on topics such as chronic pain, stress management, fatigue and energetic burnout, the mind-body connection, and communication in boundaries and conflict. She is PSYPACT accredited to provide telehealth to clients in 43 states.
